The staff was unwelcoming, and not a single employee inquired about our experience during our stay. The elevators for the Gold Towers were mostly out of service, resulting in long waits for the two that were operational. Our room was poorly insulated, allowing noise from Fremont Street to disturb us throughout the night—often until after 4 AM. Additionally, we did not receive any housekeeping services during our stay. On my first night in the casino, I was approached by a homeless individual asking for money. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience.
The staff is not friendly. No employee asked us how our stay went. Lifts for the gold towers did not all work. Long lines are waiting for the use of the two working elevators. Room was not isolated to block the sound of Freemont street. Street noise lasted until after 4:00 every night we were Ther. No housekeeper came to the pure room. Homeless person asked me my first night at the casino to ask for money. It wasn't a good experience.
They've fixed the elevators!!! I absolutely love this little bar. It feels like a well-kept secret with its unusual hours of 3 PM to around 8 PM. It can be a bit tricky to get in, but it's definitely worth it! The atmosphere is charming and has an old-fashioned, cozy vibe—it's nice and dark in there. There's food available from Libbies, too. Plus, they have slot machines that actually pay out!
Worst place to go out to eat. Old lady is disrespectful. If you want more customers maybe talk to that lady who works there. Never going to suggest people to go there. Place smells bad as well. Not recommended at all! She was disrespectful and gave a attitude so I left. From the minute I walked in she rolled her eyes. She should get fired may lose customers with that lady's attitude! When we go to Golden Nugget mostly we sit outside enjoy our drinks. It's fairly dark inside the bar. I'm figureming it's due to being an old building with dark walls and ceiling. If your looking for a quite atmosphere this is the place for you.
One of my favorite places to eat down home food with a good drink to boot. Play a little keno.........
Has a quiet bar with a large variety food menu. Reasonably priced. Diner style.
