Went to the golden palace for my takeaway. Servings are large, great value and very tasty. Plenty of chicken with punchy lemon sauce and the sweet and sour pork was tasty. Never eaten there but can thoroughly recommend the takeaway service. It seems to be its core business and it does it very well for a good price.
The food is really good but the place needs a facelift...wouldn't cost too much.a coat of paint and new flooring. The lighting is great creates a lovely ambiance. The staff are friendly and courteous.
I used to eat here regularly but stopped because quality had deteriorated . today I decided to give it another chance but never again. the food was bad and tasteless the whole family hated it.
Having grown up down the street, my friend and I were both curious to see what this place was like years later. I'm glad to say the food was delicious. Will be back soon for more.
