Soooo much better than it used to be!. Once new management took this place over a yr or 2 ago this place has improved dramatically!!! The BBQ nachos salads and blue plate specials all all very good! Servers are always friendly! This place is super close to my house so I'm glad it's improved! Be warned not all golden rules are created equal went to Pelham after church a couple months ago will absolutely never make that mistake again! Nowhere near the same quality! We had recently heard that there was a new owner of our Golden Rule in Helena, so we went there for lunch. Tammy was our server and was looking for all our questions and served us with such real warm and smile. We were presented to Josh, the new owner and he is extremely charming and striving to improve many of the menu items. We lubricated such a difference in my smoked turkey sandwich that was as moist and not dry as it was. Also the macaroni cheese is fabulous creamy and also cheesy! Best meat 1/2/3 in the area. This is the best golden rule in the franchise queens and franchise queens are not two equal that it is above and above all about the variety of menu, quality of food and service. Since their menu is different, it would be nice to see a current complete menu published on their FaceBook page or website, some of the offers change daily and that would certainly help both me and the other current and potential restaurant customers.
Usually get the lb special to go. It's a great deal under $20 and usually feeds my family of 4 for 2 meals. I could eat my weight in banana pudding! The only thing I don't love is their potato salad, it used to be my favorite, now I won't even order it.

Wow. This place makes fantastic BBQ! The new owners have really helped to do the place over the face! The service is always excellent. If you come a few times, remember your name! Skip the chain and check your local BBQ joint!
I'm often here and I'm never disappointed. The wings are especially the sweet bbq and hot. Together with chips and cheese and there triplets you have a happy belly. The prices are good and the staff is great. I recommend it!
Love the Variety. We love this place and the viariety. We have always had great service and food. I like that varied menu so that everyone can find something to their liking. The desserts are awesome.
TBH, I don't care for the food. The only reason this place gets 3 stars is because the wait staff is spectacular every time I'm forced to meet my parents here.

Get the Chocolate Pie. I like the food there and the staff has always been nice. Do yourself a favor and get the chocolate pie.
