8 of us shared a banquet on a Saturday night at $38 per person. The choice of mixed entree, 5 mains and rice and fruit platter was uninspiring - mongolian lamb, pork spare ribs, king prawns with snow peas (good), szechuan chilli chicken (good), fried mixed vegetables. The fruit platter consisted of just orange slices and watermelon slices, very ordinary.For the price, it would have been better to order individual dishes as the selection was much more interesting than the dishes on offer for the banquet and there would have been a lot more food. For 8 people, 5 main regular sized dishes was not near enough food.I would not recommend the banquet.
Not a bad yum cha. The restaurant is located inside RSL club so if you are not from the area you need to get your ID scanned to be able to enter the premises. The restaurant is quite sizeable and they even had tanks with lobsters and abalone. We ordered the usual: char gow, rice noodles with prawns, garlic chives and prawn dumplings, spinach dumplings, chicken feet, mango pancakes. I judge yum cha places by their chicken feet and it was just ok (didn't quite like the sauce which was too sweet and no spicy flavour) but other dishes were good. Mango pancake was a bit disappointing too, probably because it's not a mango season.
They recently got a new chef. Food is better than it was before. Quite average Chinese restaurant with traditional Cantonese food. Lots of car parking, but not very convenient and you have to sign in to a Leagues club to get in. Food is variable, but quite good for the most part. The service is a bit lacking, they are slow to respond and get things, and when it is busy the service suffers
We had a family Christmas get together at this restaurant on Sunday which the 9 of us enjoyed very much. The yum cha had a good selection of dishes and we were also able to order noodle and vegetable dishes from the menu. Everything was tasty and well cooked. The waiting staff was friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. It was a lovely afternoon.

Waited for more than 30 minutes after order on the Friday night dinner despite only 3 tables of dinners. Normal entry soup and 10% discount for club members no longer available, Extra charges found on the bill were not heard of. Waiter force to pay $10 tip despite making us waiting for our dinner for more than 30 minutes.
This used to be our local Chinese restaurant. I miss the yum cha so much now that I live on the Central Coast (no yum cha up this way). It was always fresh and tasty. We went there so much that some of the staff knew us. I am missing the dumplings so much!
Great food, beautiful decor, service is just as you would expect from a yum cha joint. It is a bit on the more expensive side but that's to be expected considering the location and everything.
The best yum cha place in the area. Fish balls/cakes are superb, and other dim sums are tasty, too. Great variety, reasonably priced.

Best mud crab in Sydney. Clean and tidy with good ambience. Attentive staff too.
