I’ve ordered from this restaurant twice, and both times my order was late by an hour. This evening, I placed my order at 6:10 PM, expecting it to arrive by 7:05. I tried calling several times, and when someone finally picked up, she was incredibly rude and didn’t offer an apology. She mentioned that the delivery driver had just left five minutes ago and that it would be here soon, even though I live only two miles away. After waiting another 30 minutes, I tried calling again but got no answer. Eventually, the driver arrived and claimed he took 10 minutes to find the food. Ordered from here twice both times OVER an hour late. Tonight the order was placed at 6:10pm with an expected arrival at 7:05. I called multiple times and when someone finally answered she was super rude, never apologized stated the delivery driver left5 minutes ago and should be arriving shortly (I live 2 miles away. . After 30 minutes pass I call again again no answer. Thedriver shows up and states he picked the food up 10 minutes prior. Not only was the manager rude making excuses, she blatantlylied. All consistent with the first time we ordered here also, we just thought it was a busy Saturday night, we was wrong suggest literally any restaurant other then this one. ????????
The man in front was quite impatient. I asked him to repeat himself because he spoke really fast, and he seemed frustrated with me, looking down with an angry expression. He mentioned that my order came with a drink, but I didn’t receive it, and this is how our conversation went: “I thought you said this came with a drink?” “Are you dining here?” “No, it’s to go.” “Then go.” The food was decent, but he didn’t seem to care much about his customers. Nothing of my order was good. The chow mein had onion strips instead of rice noodles. Seriously! No rice noodles in the chow mein? The kung pao chicken came with ONE little cube of green pepper, absolutely no red pepper and they threw planters peanuts on top instead of cashews. And the chicken in the dish was nasty. Absolutely the worst.

The owner was very rude, and all the dishes were excessively greasy, with too much oil used in cooking. I visited twice, thinking maybe it was just a bad day, but I was mistaken. I wouldn't recommend this place or order from here.
Owner is VERY rude....food all tasted the same and was cooked it way to much oil. Ordered from hete twice to see if they were just having an off day. I was wrong. Never going to recommend them or order here again.
It's an ok place to eat. Dined in. Bathroom was out of order. The place needs some work inside. The food was great. Disappointed there wasn't a buffet and no drink comes with a combo.
The egg roll was the smallest in everystate ive been too.and i. A truck driver and love chinese food.. and i order a beef and broccilli combo.. had more rice the beef or brocilli smh

We don't eat Chinese food very often anymore, but after moving to Nitro, we decided to give Golden Wok a try. Overall, it was quite delicious, and the service was prompt.
I Love the food, better than any other in nitro/st.albans area! I personally have had no bad experience here. Delivery usually within a reasonable time.
