Good Burger has been on my burger radar for about a year now, but I had just never made it up there for dinner until now. Um, yeah, WOW. Like... W O W Why have I not been there sooner?! First off, I was surprised to find they had not just burgers but tacos as well. Being a fan of both fish tacos *and* pork belly tacos I was more than excited to see they offered both of these on the menu. But then I reminded myself: you came for a burger! So I forced my eyes away from the non-burger menu and read the selections. There were SO many to choose from. They had basic burgers, a Fair Burger with onions, the Bastion Burger with jalapenos, the bacon cheeseburger, a chicken burger...burgers burgers eve...

This is a nice little place that has limited street parking however there is a large lot across the street. Their menu is a combination of burgers and bbq and inside has a rustic feel to it. We were greeted when we got to the counter however no information was given and we were never asked if we had any questions, not very helpful. It took a few minutes to decide what we wanted to get there are a lot of choices. When we decided we placed our order and sat down to wait for our food. One got the Hawaiian burger on a gluten free bun she said it was very good. Another got the guacamole bacon burger and said it tasted more like salsa than guacamole. This is the best BBQ near Bellingham. It's in Ferndale just a 15 minute drive north of Bellingham. It's easy to get to, street parking and there is a parking lot across the street. Literally every aspect of my meal was delicious. I got the Standard Pulled Pork. The pulled pork is thicc, juicy and delicious. The bun was so good that I started crying tears of joy. It came with pickles and a really good BBQ chipotle sauce on the side. The sauce was real good. I dipped my pulled pork sando in that sauce and it turned it up to a whole new level. Moved around the corner to Bucks BBQ. What a mistake. Hand Dipped Fish and Chips B.S. he pulled them from a Bag. Watched him do it. Fry's are Greasy not like Good Burgers. People working on 7-9-17 talking smack about the girls that worked around the corner. Place was DIRTY sweep the floor more than 1 time aday... No more Fresh Ground Beef. Hands-down, one of the best burgers that I have had in a very long time, and I am a food snob. For real, what a great place to go to get a burger. They also have good beer on tap and in the cooler. Incredibly fresh ingredients, a bun that rocks your world, and seasoned just right. Average pricing for what you get. Super nice people and relatively quick food! All that to say, I will be repeating my food experience at good burger. For real, you should go check it out.
Hence the name it's a good burger. It won't blow your mind, it's simple, unexciting, and the quality is their. Just a lil pricey for my me for just a simple good burger. I had the mushroom Swiss burger. Great bun and fresh ingredients. I just personally would like more of a crisp sear on the burger and a touch of salt.
