This review pains me a great deal as I have known the owners for nearly 20 years. I used to frequent the establishment when I first moved to the area in 2002; but that tapered off after a few rather unfortunate incidents involving poor service in andaround 2010. Extremely disappointing experience. Despite the glowing reviews, I decided to give Good Choice Sushi a try. Unfortunately, it was a letdown. I ordered two rolls in the afternoon, but initially had trouble getting through to the restaurant by phone. When I finally did, I was informed that my order would take 35-45 minutes. Upon arrival, the rolls were not ready. With no other customers in sight, it appeared that the staff were unprepared or running behind schedule. I ordered a crispy roll and a special Happy Roll. This restaurant is not just amazing, but also incredibly delicious! I am always very particular about my sushi, but this place never disappoints. They always get my order right, no matter how much I order or what substitutions I make. They even remember to include the extra side of spicy mayo that I always request. It is the only restaurant where I can simply mention over the phone that I need extra spicy mayo, and it is always included in my bag. The staff is always so friendly and the sushi is consistently fresh. This is definitely my top favorite sushi spot out of all the places I have tried.
Fantastic place! Found this place by total accident and it was a windfall. I have an opportunity to eat Sushi all across United States and this is one of the best places I have ever been to. The sushi is very fresh and the rolls are very unique. When they brought me wasabi it wasn't just a thimble full but a good size serving. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I like spicy things in this location has plenty of options for that.
I've heard good things about this place for years. Finally, the opportunity had to go and it was not disappointed. Started with miso soup and edamame, both big. Then I got the kalikimaka role and the spicy tuna reel. Both were absolutely delicious. I definitely go back. This will be a regular place for me.
The quality of the sushi is better than most good ayce sushi places. I was particularly impressed with the salmon and yellowtail sushi. Fresh and good quality like a good a la carte place. Is the sushi the very best? No but no ayce place is. Ayce is every Monday and Tuesday 5-9pm

Superb staff! Even though I didn't know how to phrase my order, they helped me order the poke bowl i meant to. Good looking out for me. Very thoughtful waiter. Generous food! A lovely place with chill Hawaiian vibes.
good choice sushi was one of the worst decisions I made during the holiday here. in an area with many good sushi facilities; they can afford to drive.
