I was gutted when I arrived here at 3:05pm the kitchen closes at 3:00pm but takeaway is available till 4pm. This cafe is a Lyme Regis coffee favourite. Although I only bought a takeaway coffee which was perfect, I could see the amount of people trying to go in not realising the cafe was closed. Here's my recommendation: Get In Early! Monday to Friday might be easier, but Saturday and Sunday are when the crowds get here. There was only one gluten free option left when I arrived, but they have other gf options if you get here earlier. We picked a slice of vegan apple cake and a vegan peanut butter brownie. Both desserts were delicious, and I would say the peanut butter brownie was one of the best I've ever had. Enjoying these treats along with excellent coffee while seated in the sun with a view of the sea was the perfect way to start the day. The menu also featured several vegan pasties (about four options), two types of vegan cake, a vegan sandwich, and vegan milkshakes. The service was incredibly friendly, and we even had a pleasant conversation with the owner, who recently took over the business with her partner in June. They’re doing an amazing job! I highly recommend this place.

This restaurant is very dog-friendly, providing water right at the table for our furry friends. The staff is exceptionally welcoming to customers. Good food and staff very helpful and friendly, dogs should not be allowed to sit on chair's and put paws on the tables , so unhealthy.
