A very large range of vegan items at the usual prices, but perhaps cheaper than some other similar stores... still not cheap though. Good Food Emporium does still unfortunately sell dead animals, dairy, eggs and honey, but (at least for now) their range of pro-cruelty products is much smaller than Wholefoods Merchants, even though the stores are probably of comparable size. Good Food Emporium does also have the benefit of containing a cafe where all of the food is vegan (even though the drinks are not due to dairy and honey), as opposed to the Wholefood Merchants Cafe menu which is predominantly vegetarian.
Ordered 3 mains Loaded fries nice thick cut chips with tasty seasoning , nice big portion size, cheese sauce had decent texture, but not much flavour. Jackfruit was good but nothing to rave about Polenta with Mushroom Ragú thick cut mushroom bacon good size, nice filling meal not overpowered with flavour, thick cut mushroom bacon was an add on and was pretty forgettable) Korean tofu with kimchi etc good size my partner ate this) and had a shake total of about $68. Would definitely return to try other stuff on the menu too.
I’ve been here maybe three to four times and I love it. Food is always fresh and yum with a beautiful plant based menu. We have tried the big breakfast, pancakes, Buddha bowl ? , and more and have never been disappointed in a meal or left unsatisfied. Has a beautiful quirky cafe setting and it joined to the store which I always spend ages going through. Love this place!
A hidden gem for vegans in an area where options are limited. Be sure to visit this café and enjoy a meal! The interior is charming and well-maintained. It's frustrating that, while many of the food items and products here are vegan, there are still quite a few that aren't. It's disappointing to discover something exciting on the shelves, only to find upon closer inspection that it contains animal products.
Dining here is always a delightful experience. I love the variety of offerings available. They have a wide range of products, though prices can be on the higher side.
love this place! all vegan except cow milk offered for coffee. large selection of dressed, salads, toasties, croissants, smoothies etc.
