I stopped at this location since it was on my way home and I left without food. When I walked in, I noticed how dirty and sloppy the building was compared to the one in surprise. There were crumbs all over the counter. I asked for a turkey sandwich on white and when he started slicing it, it did not look like turkey a greenish color I get subs from the location and surprise all the time, and it did not look like this. I even asked him if that was the turkey and he said yes-not to mention the guy slicing it had long greasy hair with strands falling in his face. The man with the red hair, beard, and black shirt, who is apparently a manager and operates the slicer, was incredibly rude when I asked for service. When I came in on Saturday and requested a platter, he immediately said that 24 hours notice was required. I apologized and asked if I could just get 5 subs instead, but he responded with a scoff and threw a tantrum, giving me attitude for my order. It was completely unnecessary and made me very uncomfortable. As a manager myself, I understand the importance of customer service and he had the opportunity to either make or break a customer. I often visit this restaurant for catering purposes. When I inquired about specials, I was told there were none except for the Tuesday special, which didn't suit my needs as I only needed five sandwiches. The person at the cash register quoted me $38 for a deli tray, but I felt that was too much. I was then advised by the sandwich maker that it would be cheaper to buy five individual sandwiches instead. In the end, I ended up spending $75 on a mix of ham, turkey, and roast beef sandwiches. It would be helpful for the staff to be more knowledgeable about cost-effective sandwich purchasing options compared to deli trays.
Poor customer service today. Meat slicer chose to fill long on line order instead of people right in front of her. Said just a minute, but it went beyond that. So the man in front of us was upset, and left. We waited a little longer, but no response from her again. So we left. Better to take the money in front of you, rather than let it walk out the door. The restaurant should make it clear that you have to heat the pasta yourself. We were expecting a hot, ready to eat meal and instead had to heat it in the microwave!
