Goodfellows Pizza And Italian Specialties

I just received my order from Goodfellows and it was a disappointment. I ordered a wrap but the chicken inside was chewy and tasteless. Typically, this restaurant is very good, but tonight was an exception. I believe this may be the last time we order from this location in Parlin. They have a great menu with some high prices, but the food is usually worth it. Unfortunately, we only live a short distance away and the delivery can be hit or miss. Today is my birthday and they messed up my order. We called right away and they acknowledged the mistake and sent out the correct item. UPDATE: Corrected food just arrived. A Goodfellows Wrap. Sorry I didn't go to bed with my son. Chicken is chewy and tasteless. Their stuff is normally very good. Not tonight. I think the Parlin location has gotten us for the last time.This place has so many great items. The prices are kind of high, but it's quality food. However, we live less than a mile from the restaurant and delivery can either be hot or right. Today is my birthday and they screwed up my order. We called right away, they admitted the mistake and are sending the corrected item. Meanwhile it's been over an hour, everyone ate (but me) and my 4 year old is now in bed and I'm still waiting

We ordered two large pies on a weekday night. One with pepperoni and one with bacon toppings were good but not quite scarce but certainly not a lot. The cheese was very full as if it was extra cheese so if you like cheese that was awesome. Tomato sauce was good but not a huge presence in the taste. The dough is soft and doughy but the pizza held himself together easily. If you like soft crust it's another bonus. I would say the prices a little bit High because the total is $40 for these two items. Many other local places you would be able to get two large pies with one topping each for closer to $30 and in some cases 25.

overall the pizza was good. if they like a lot of cheese, they will like these pizzas. it seems as if it were extra, although it wasn't. the crust is soft and a bit dry, but some people like it so that the tomato sauce is not really a tastable factor, but it is there. in general I was happy about everything, but the price was a little high. $40 for two big cakes each with a topping and the toppings were a little light. The staff and service at this restaurant were excellent. The food was delicious and they even assisted me with a ton of food while I was dining in the pouring rain. Although there are new owners, this place is definitely a clever choice to visit.

a picture is worth a thousand words, i only eat the cheese and the meat from pizza, this is what i found on mine extra protein i didn't ask for. Yes they quality has gone down the drain, what a shame

We have been ordering from Goodfellows in Parlin, New Jersey for years and it is hit or miss. The pizza is usually very good, though. Today, we picked up the chicken parm and it was burned and old.

Excellent staff and service. Delicious food. Even helped me to my car with a ton of food in the pouring rain. New owners but definately awesome place to go.

Best food around! Their pizza is a work of art (crispy, delicious, and down right mouth watering). Great staff and service
