The Goose on the Green is a delightful little cafe in the charming little village of Gullane. The cakes are delicious the caramel shortcake is so thick and gooey it is served with a fork! Coffee was fine too. A little bit pricey but to be expected in Gullane. Service was good and friendly. Dog friendly too. Vegetarian options: There are several vegetarian options available. Wheelchair accessibility: There are no steps so wheelchair access shouldn't be a problem.
We have never visited Gullane before and found this wonderful coffee shop. Dogs warmly welcomed, free WiFi and a really delicious and tempting selection of snacks and bakes available with lovely coffee. What's not to like. It was busy popular with local people so a little noisy but friendly and welcoming staff made it a must visit place. Service: Dine in
Excellent time there. Ordered the full breakfast and even though they were short staffed we paid and were fed in les than 10 minutes. Good quality food. Bright sunny day in Scotland helped the atmosphere, but I'm sure it's excellent all the time. Offered extra water and it was on the table almost instantly. Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast
The biggest and best breakfast bap I've ever had! Lovely fresh bread and numerous choices to stuff in there. Great quality loose leaf tea. The cakes and scones are giant too. Yummy! We had the most incredible chips at this restaurant. The burgers were also fantastic, and the sandwiches were delicious as well. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We dined in for lunch and the price per person was between £1-10.
The restaurant provides excellent service and delicious food. I would recommend it for brunch. Each person can expect to spend between £10-£20. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive perfect scores of 5.
