I recently visited the newly relocated Gopi Curry Leaf, which moved from Willetton a few years ago. Chef Gopi may have aged a bit, but his Indian cuisine remains delicious and affordable. We discovered this hidden gem in a quiet part of Langford while waiting for a haircut. Although the location is somewhat inconvenient and away from the main street, it was surprising to find that the small restaurant wasn't very busy when we arrived on a Thursday afternoon just before closing time at 2 PM. The $10 nasi lemak was flavorful and aromatic, while the lazy prata paired wonderfully with the $15 lamb curry. We ordered roti prata, which was made with the same flour used in Singapore. The rotis were well-cooked, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The curry sauce was plentiful, but it could benefit from a bit more flavor. The teh tarik was served in a generous cup, but it tasted like instant mix. The service was satisfactory.

I love ranjuice so much! Ranjan, I care about you as my best friend. I'm eager to enjoy some nasi lemak, especially with curry that packs a punch!
