Great place to eat. I remember eating at their other location (since closed) several years ago and loved their food then. Was not disappointed. I had one of their burgers and fries. Fries were hot and crisp. Burger was excellent. My daughter had the fish sandwich and loved it. My wife had the burger with pb and j on it and liked it. Many locals visit often. Definitely a strong recommendation from me to try. Service only suffered a little bit just because they were busy.
We got a recommendation to eat here and it didn't disappoint! We love local neighborhood bars and this is definitely it! I believe there was one bartender and she was also the server (not a huge place, yet still impressive! . We ordered the Gordo Burger and the French Burger...they were both outstanding!! Yummy! We shared appetizers. poppers, stuffed mushroom dip, egg rolls. Super chill vibe, the staff were all super friendly very attentive. Plenty of parking in their lot. We went on a Friday evening and sadly it wasn’t too busy. And it should have been! Head in for a date and support the local, family run biz.
on Tuesday night before the xavier men basketball game with my son and a friend stopped and had a great time. we ordered their nachos and we all had the gordo burger. the whole beer was cold and the food was served directly from the grill. large place to visit when they are near the xavier university. Absolutely the best burger I have ever ate. I had the gordo burger and my friend had the hangover. I passed by so many times and then decided to try it out and I’m so glad I did. Can’t wait to come back and try more of their delicious food
During a work trip, I stopped for lunch, and I suggest you take your time to relax. You'll definitely leave feeling full—I was so satisfied that all I wanted to do afterward was take a nap. I really enjoyed my meal!
The food was excellent, and the service was satisfactory, although the atmosphere felt somewhat like a hole-in-the-wall.
