We had a wonderful lunch. I had great mushroom soup and my husband enjoyed the venison stew accompanied by house made mixed grain bread. The lemon tart and chocolate cake were excellent. Do make sure to visit the museum below the restaurant. It’s small but very well done to share the history of the building of the nearby tunnel to Austria in WWII and the concentration camp prisoners who labored to build it. Service: Dine in
Paradies des Geschmacks!!! Warum hat Michelin diesen Ort noch nicht entdeckt? Venison, tagliatelle mit Trüffeln...wirklich erstaunlich!!! Oh, was für eine Erfahrung... auch Muzic Wein aus Slowenien. Sehr freundliche Besitzer, Paar, Mann ist Chef, seine schöne und freundliche Frau im Service. So schön, so freundlich, so gemütlich... eine unserer besten Erfahrungen überhaupt! Danke!
AMBIENT The restaurant is located in the middle of the forest by the road. Wonderful. Restaurant inside is nicely decorated. STAFF The waitress is very friendly and helpful. FOOD I ordered the liver with roasted potatoes. Instead of 5 stars, I can give 4 (roasted potatoes were less spicy and more liquid in texture, the liver is also not very tasty) Service: Dine in
Definitely worth a visit. When I tasted the food I thought I died and went to heaven! But honestly, this place has more than amazing food. The atmosphere is homey and the servers are incredible! They are also super flexible with the sides: you want potatoes instead the salad? The other way around? No problem! Definitely recommend. Picked at random on route to Austria and what a find! The food was superb, lovely homemade bread, all meals were delicious. Wir waren angenehm überrascht von der Qualität der ansonsten recht üblichen Platte, die man fast überall bekommen kann: ein Rindfleischeintopf zusammen mit einem Buchweizenbrei. Ehrlich gesagt, es war mein Favorit!
