NOT THE SAME OWNERS! BEWARE! RED FLAGS! We received a gift card from a dear friend that we could use during covid, and finally made the trip out to use it. However when we tried to use the gift card, the manager Ryan said they could not accept it. He claimed the restaurant was a brand new entity. I showed him the font name of the gift card was an exact match to the bill he claimed that the bill was just leftover . I informed him that it was preposterous to keep the same name, font, and even bill, but not honor the previous owner 's promised. He refused to budge. we had a wonderful meal in the gotham for restaurant week. that was great. we started with squash soup and then had the pappardelle and brandzino. the mushroom paste was creamy and tasteful and the fish was crispy on the outside, but extremely tasty and moist on the inside. the flourless cake was the richest flourless I ever had. very dense, good quality chocolate. a standout. a gourmet lunch. service and atmosphere were excellent.
The food at Gotham is always excellent. On this particular evening we had an early dinner and were seated away from any other customers (which was lovely), but it meant that no one bothered to keep our wine poured. We finally asked that the bottle be put next to us so that we could pour it ourselves. As for value, Gotham is expensive. It offers good value, but not great value.

it was a wonderful experience to celebrate our 39th anniversary! the personal wishes solicitous gracious, warm and funny! eating was as good as you could expect in the desert, what a apple planz was great. I highly recommend the restaurant, which is only for a special occasion, but for a comfortable quiet adult dining experience
Great all around restaurant with a casual yet refined atmosphere. Food was as you would expect from a fine dining experience. One area of improvement could be offering a pasta main such as pappardelle in choice of either vegetarian or vegan.
sat on the bar. very helpful and pleasant bar delicate. had halibut and bash in dinner together with oyster and delicious French apple cake. every aspekt of dinner was unforgettable.
Gotham is back! A delightful evening out, well worth the trip from the upper east side. We look forward to returning!
