This is one of my favourite Chinese restaurants in the GTA, vegetarian or otherwise. The food is always so good, and usually pretty consistent. The staff is very friendly and the food comes fast (which might worry me in some other restaurants, but not this one). In this photo we ordered: veggie fried spring rolls, chef’s fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, and eggplant in hot pot. We like to try something different every time we go, but the sweet and sour chicken is always a go-to! It’s that type of crispy on the outside chewy on the inside mock chicken that’s so satisfying and tasty. This restaurant is nice and cozy, with attentive staff who bring you what you request, although sometimes they need a reminder. The food can be hit or miss as I find most dishes to be fairly bland. The service is fast, but it can be frustrating that condiments like vinegar, soy sauce, and hot sauce are not left on the table. You have to ask for each one, and the portion sizes are small, so you have to keep asking for more. It can be quite annoying, as there is no willingness to refill them. Overall, it's a good place to eat, but the condiment situation can be frustrating.
I asked the waitress what vegetables were in the dish, and she said it included Bok Choy and broccoli. However, when my food arrived, it was mostly peppers and mushrooms with only a small amount of broccoli and Bok Choy. I was also disappointed with the service, as I felt like I was treated differently because I wasn't Asian. The waitress didn't provide me with a bowl of hot water to rinse my chopsticks and bowl, like she did for other customers. She seemed annoyed when I asked questions. Overall, I had a negative experience and will not be returning to this restaurant.
I came to this restaurant based on a neighbor's suggestion. I am currently transitioning to a vegetarian diet. I ordered the Veggie Beef with Broccoli in Satay sauce for $12.00, Veggie Meatball in Thai Style for $12.00 (I believe?), as well as Fried fish and tofu balls for $5.00. The total came to $32.10. Good place for vegetarian food. The vegetarian take on all the dimsum was very interesting. Some better than others. 4 stars for the food. Ambiance wise it feels quite run down, but that doesn 't bother me much. Service wise is a 2 star at best. Servers are rude and are not interested in serving you. I 'm used to HK style restaurants but this is a bit much. Been here a couple of times so its not just an off day Oh and it 's cash ONLY.
Pretty good experience! The food was nice and fresh, and accommodating for a vegan diet. But definitely a place I'd rather order out from than dine in; the interior and presentation isn't the nicest. Our server was friendly and patient, but communication wasn't the easiest (mostly asking questions to make sure things were vegan).
Best vegetarian and vegan restaurant in town. Large vegetarian options and meatless plates come loaded with flavor. They sell lots of homemade snacks and desserts. Ordered takeout with huge portion value for money. Highly recommended.

My parents love visiting this place when they are vegetarian. Has lots of options to choose from. One of their favourites is this item in the photo. It’s crispy and delicious. Give this place a try!
