On a very wet Sunday evening, after a long drive, unable to find other top TA restaurants open, we dropped into this small cafe/ restaurant which is serviced by and next to the bright Goya Bar. The menu displayed outside was helpfully in Spanish English, inside there were around 8 table clothed tables, with Goya prints on the walls. Within a couple of minutes, the waiter appeared (from the bar next door) took our drink orders which were promptly delivered. The waiter spoke no English but indicated that the Spanish omelette was for two people. Nos sentamos aquí, porque tenían una mesa libre, sin ver reseñas ni nada y me alegro. De los únicos que tenían la calefacción en la terraza fuerte y se estaba bien. La chica nos atendió súper bien. Muy amable. Cuando le dijimos que no éramos de Plasencia nos ofreció además de la migas las albóndigas. Cerveza Victoria de Málaga, muy rica, también 0,0. Tapas muy bien y ricas. La bebida muy bien y todo súper rápido. Yo cuando vuelva intentaré tomarme algo aquí seguro.
After waiting almost 10 minutes for the waiter to take our order in the barely empty restaurant, we waited 30 more minutes for the food to arrive. What a disappointment, the burgers looked and tasted like something that you would buy at a supermarket for 1 euro and cook in your microwave. The nail in the coffin was the price of the drinks, the smallest coke I have ever seen in my life, 2.5 euro, are you serious? Would not recommend, go literally anywhere else.
We have gone for breakfast first thing in the morning before leaving for a trip and it has been the only one who, despite not having opened yet, has prepared a table on the terrace and has prepared our breakfast. a good gesture that the rest of the cafes in the square have not done.
Eran casi las 16h y era el único sitio donde nos dieron de comer El servicio fue rápido y de 10!!! Las raciones estaban riquísimas a pesar de algún comentario nuestra experiencia fue muy buena .Los camareros muy simpáticos. Calidad precio muy recomendable.
very good attention and divine food. crumbs and puppy were very good but not so much. but it deserves the best score. Only with the drink put something to bite. the price was not very high.
Un servicio excepcional por parte de la señorita ISABEL, amable atenta y siempre con buena actitud, teniendo en cuenta que era la única camarera del bar. GRACIAS ISABEL
A bar which served decent quality, unpretentious food. Just a typical Spanish bar on the square which was friendly, not expensive and completely enjoyable.
