8-3-24 It has been decades since I had been to Grady's until the date above. Grady's was recently inducted into the American Royal BBQ Hall of Fame. To add to that, it was recently inducted into the NC BBQ Hall of Fame. If that isn't enough, the owners were also honored as the first recipient of the NC BBQ Revival Lifetime Achievement Award. But wait! Grady's is part of the NC BBQ Society's Historic BBQ Trail. This is a small joint, maybe six tables, well kept and decorated with all its accolades and appropriate stuff. Grady's is definitely known for their bbq which is delicious fresh and taste good. Definitely enjoyed the collard greens which also had a good flavor I personally felt the cabbage wasn't quite to my liking but everyone season their cabbage differently. Hush puppies were ok but the sweet potato pie was definitely a 10/10. Not only is the food good but their customer service was great friendly and got my order out quickly.
Delicious food. Our first time there. It will NOT be our last. People were friendly the food was like good old down home cooking. The vegetables were delious, seasoning like a good southern cook. Can't wait to go back and try something different. They have a good variety of things and I would love to try more on the menu. If today is and indication, it all will be delicious!!!!
Absolutely wonderful Eastern North Carolina chopped whole hog barbecue. The meat is perfectly cooked with just the right amount of wood smoke. The sauce compliments the bbq like a match made in heaven. The staff is super friendly and attentive too. 5 starts to Grady’s! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Food was on point. I had the Fried Chicken plate, boil potatoes, and cabbage. Turkey BBQ sandwich, banana pudding and XL Lemonade. I'll be back. Highly recommend this place for great down south home cooking.
Best BBQ in eastern NC, Fried chicken was great, all of the sides that I have tried were all very good. Service excellent. If you have not tried Grady's yet, you really need to.. they will not disappoint.
The best eastern bbq I’ve had. It tops skylight,Stephensons and Parker’s. Not a lot of seating inside but they do have picnic tables outside. Cash only. The staff was very friendly.
