We had brunch here on New Year's Day. We were seated right away in a nice, sunny area of the restaurant. I had the brunch punch and it is very good. It was sweet but not overly sweet and I had two during our brunch. We got the prosciutto toast and the avocado to start. The avocado one was good, but the prosciutto was phenomenal! Last visit to G&D. Making a reservation was easy, however when we got there we were informed bc it’s the weekend there is no restaurant week menu, which we were okay with. We stayed for brunch, we ordered 4 different items as we had totally talked this place up to our kids(teen foodies). I am not usually one to go to fancy places, but my husband brought me here for date night. The look of the restaurant was very elegant and beautiful. Our server was also fantastic. The food is decently priced, but for the price I thought it would taste a little different. It could be what I chose. Overall it was a good experience.
Ambiance was nice, seating was very comfy. We all loved our food. The presentation was nice and food was tasty. Our waitress never smiled or checked on us we had to flag her to order more drinks and she was not conversational and never smiled at all. Almost felt like we had wronged her.

Food is very good. Wouldn't call it a relaxed atmosphere, more of a birthday/anniversary situation. Go really early if you aren't into that. Hanger steak is great, served similar to a roast beef texture, huge portion. Tuna tartare is on point.
One of my most favorite places to dine whenever I'm in the Plaza. The outdoor patio has fire pits and makes for a great atmosphere during the spring and summer and fall. The menu selections are on point have never had a bad experience here!
In general, it was a pretty enjoyable place. A bit on the expensive side, but you should be aware of this before you go. Visitors definitely ought to have a fantastic experience.
The drinks were really good, the food was not bad but not great. A nice place for a date but nothing particularly memorable or out of this world.

Delish! Went here for restaurant week with friends and the food was fabulous! I had burnt end mac and cheese and a kale Caesar salad.
