If I could give this restaurant a negative rating, I definitely would! I visited their food truck and was looking forward to getting fried catfish, shrimp, and fries. However, when the food arrived at our house (just 2 blocks away), I was extremely disappointed. The French fries were undercooked and hard, with a cold center. The catfish was not fully cooked and the shrimp were still gray. When I called the restaurant to speak to the owner about the issue, they initially denied any responsibility until they realized it was their food truck. They then asked me to return the food with the receipt for a replacement, but I was not willing to eat their food again. They refused to refund the $13.99...
We were looking for a local restaurant to celebrate a special occasion and we were not disappointed with this place. The service was excellent and friendly, and the food was delicious. The fried catfish was amazing, with plenty of tartar sauce (which is important for me, as I have a sensitivity). The onion rings were top-notch, the coleslaw was the best I've ever had, and I appreciated that it was brought out as an appetizer like chips and salsa at a Mexican restaurant. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meals and the prices were reasonable. This restaurant is a must-try and if I lived nearby, I would definitely be a regular customer.
I highly recommend trying the Fried Catfish with Fried Okra and Hushpuppies, as well as the Fish and Shrimp Combo with Pinto Beans and Onion Rings. Both dishes were delicious and left me completely satisfied. Overall, I had a great dining experience and would definitely return to this restaurant in the future.
Great fish because it is mississippi raised. But born raised in mississippi there is place named jerry's catfish in florence ms which is better. I recently had dinner at this restaurant and the price per person was between $20 and $30. The food was rated a 4 out of 5, as well as the service and atmosphere. I highly recommend trying the Fish and Shrimp Combo with Pinto Beans and Onion Rings, as well as the Fried Catfish with Potato Salad.
The catfish, shrimp, and hush puppies at this restaurant were amazing. We also tried the fried coconut pie, which was delicious. Our server, Holly, was very friendly and provided excellent service. I highly recommend this place.
