Exceptional experience at this hotel. We found it to be very inviting. The lobby is spacious and was nicely decorated for the holidays. Check in was a breeze and we did it online. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Our room was nice with great amenities. The bathroom is large and includes a separate bathtub and shower. The swing out windows in the bathroom were a bit weird, but not a big deal. Lots of nice artwork on property. It adds a cool touch that you don’t see at other hotels. We also enjoyed the bar. Lots of nice choices and a very friendly staff. The area is very walkable and we plan to spend the next holidays at this hotel. A nice experience.
The Grand Bohemian hotel really nails the expectations of a four star experience. The location, Mountain Brook, is ideally situated just outside of the Birmingham Alabama. From here you can access the city within 5mins or just mooch down to the local shops amenities of Mountain Brook. The hotel, the associated restaurant and bar (Habitat), deliver across the board. If you’re keen from some cooking classes or wine tasting sessions you’d be hard pressed to find a venue which covers all the bases for the price and quality.
Beautiful hotel, very funky vibe. Plenty of parking and charging for your electric vehicle. Sent to Habitat Feed and Social Restaurant for dinner. They were pretty crowded with a Christmas party for the Birmingham Airport Authority happening inside, and forgot my Wedge Salad. Made up for it by offering dessert on them, which we declined. Service was slow, but food was cooked to perfection!!
Construction ruined the stay. Staff laughed it off. Waitress at the rooftop bar was so busy on Instagram she couldn't be bothered with her only 1 table. Thankfully the bartender as a walk up was accommodating. If you have been here before, it is not the same and I would highly recommend ANY other hotel, unless you want to visit the bartender. The best of the best that Birmingham has to offer. If you want to truly treat yourself, stay here. The beds are the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in! Only thing I would suggest in 2024 is to not force guests to valet park to have EV charging available to them.
Ate at Habitat Feed and Social in the hotel and really enjoyed it. Did not stay at the hotel looks like it would be a nice experience and is part of Marriott boutique collection, I believe. Planning to check out a Grand Bohemian in another city.
This was the best hotel I have ever experienced. Top Rooms are amazing, location great with lots of shops, restaurants and even superchargers near. Highway very close. Great restaurant for any event business or pleasure

Everyone at the hotel was very, very attentive and really made our trip over the top comfortable.
