I can recommend the pastry shop but not the restaurant / coffee shop. there are better, friendlier and cheaper places nearby.Going for morning tea I asked for the Darjeeling, priced at chf 4.20 for a cup or chf 5.20 for a portion meaning in a pot. I only wanted a cup but a pot arrived (barely half full with water) but fair enough I didn't specify so even though the waiter could have asked me, he didn't. However because the tea bag was served on the side and the water was no longer boiling the tea was not drawing and so I asked for another tea bag which was bought after a wait of several minutes. And the tea room was not even a quarter full.I was therefore really surprised when I saw the bill...
This is a beautiful Café in a historic location. I have come here several times, only to be disappointed each and every time! Service is appalling: Waiters are unfriendly and arrogant and seem set on foisting the most expensive item on the menu on you. This is unacceptable in any Café, but particularly so in an establishment that markets itself as refined and classy. Pastries are good, but have them to go!
Ich habe gefrühstückt, das Personal war freundlich und das Omelett war köstlich. Ich habe gehört, dass das Panettone-Brot mit Kastanien berühmt ist, also habe ich es gekauft und probiert. Es war etwas süßer als koreanisches Kastanienbrot und hatte eine sehr luftige Textur!
Ein wundervoller und markanter Ort mitten im Zentrum von Lugano. Es ist ein klassisches Café mit vielen Mittagsoptionen sowie Snacks, Kuchen und Süßigkeiten. Das Personal ist freundlich und ich empfehle einen Besuch des Ortes. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Gestern Nachmittag hatte ich eine tolle Merenda mit meiner Tochter und einer Freundin. Der Service war super und auch das Essen. Ein historischer Ort, den man besuchen sollte, wenn man in Lugano ist.
Great place for coffee and cake or even a small breakfast. Service was great! They also serve lactose free milk for those in need of a cappuccino. Historical and special.
Der Ort sieht schön aus, der Service könnte besser sein. Das Essen sieht gut aus! Aber es gibt immer eine Möglichkeit zur Verbesserung.
