Grand Hôtel de l'Étape

a somewhat disappointing hotel, but a very clean and comfortable room. ideal to rest after a long car trip: the charm is not at the rendezvous. the restaurant is not up to the recommendations posted on the front or the prices practised. staff is cold and does not respond to customer comments. a very ordinary kitchen. a avoid the cheese tray with its myriad of flies that sits in the middle of the restaurant room. meat is not of first quality despite the information on the map. In conclusion, we have been very disappointed and will pass our way next time.

do not trust the vintage facade typed 80s. the restaurant room is very pleasant. we took advantage of a menu at 27,80 euros has the excellent quality / price ratio. the chef values his terroir by working the products of the cantal and the Auvergne, with a touch of inventiveness. the wine map is very complete. We'll go back!

very good reception, classical but comfortable decoration and dishes are of good quality and the lunch menu is really good quality price
