You can never go wrong with the Grand Ole Creamery. I have been coming here since I was a child and there is a reason it is still around after all these years. You are able to have free samples of all the homemade ice cream you want until you find a flavor you like. My favorites are the Mexican Chocolate and Praline and the Raspberry Chocolate Flake. I also recently tried the Horchata which was pretty good. Servings are huge. I typically do a single split, which gives you two different flavors, and that amount fills up a cup. Seating can be limited but Grand is such a fun area to walk up and down, so I never mind.
Terrible service. Staff served others that came after us, twice. Wasn't till we got THEY'RE attention did we get acknowledged. Ice cream may be great but not worth the wait or disrespect. There are other places around, with better service and prices as well. Sorry Creamery, just lost a loyal lifetime customer.
The best ice cream anywhere. Make sure you get the chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream. It's the best! Also, it objectively tastes better in a waffle cone.
