Food was absolutely delicious and exceptional value for money due to our voucher, having said that they are still very reasonably priced for lunch, not sure about dinner pricing. I wish the restaurant had have been busier to create better atmosphere, so this is a definite hidden gem.. My husband and I ordered takeout from this restaurant, but when we got home, we discovered that our order was mixed up. We were very disappointed with the experience. The staff seemed to speak very little English and were talking about us in their own language while laughing and staring at us. The noodle dishes were dry and overcooked, and the Mongolian beef did not taste like Mongolian beef at all. The chicken and cashew dish had very little chicken or cashews and was mostly just vegetables. used a groupon voucher for a dinner for two with wine for $35, mostly when I have used these I am disappointed and feel ripped off and cheesed off and this was no exception. Was a struggle from the moment we walked in, very little English could be spoken by staff which makes it incredibly difficult the entire way through. The wine was red wine only and after a lengthy tricky heated discussion finally a couple of glasses of white box monster delivered to us. Used a Groupon voucher for $35 for two people. Not a bad deal for the money but would not have wanted to have paid full price. Food was mediocre and service was rushed. Asked for a fork instead of chopsticks but never received it, used one of the serving forks instead. Plastic tablecloths were old and sticky, not very pleasant to touch.

Had dinner here and not only was it overpriced the food was shocking. Told the person when paying that it was the worst Chinese we had ever eaten and he just laughed and said "sorry you think that". I guess that's why they have seating for hundreds and only had twenty five people dining. I certainly wont be back.
I wouldn't recommend going here unless it was free, the decor is old and outdated, the service we received was rushed and not very helping or friendly. Food was average end not worth the time or money.
Waiter barely spoke English and it was very difficult to order. We gave up and just pointed. Meals were small and uninspiring. Lots of stairs up to restaurant.
This is our third trip to this restaurant and again the food was good good honest clean flavors but byo wine not much choice

We had a beautiful meal. Loved the soup, entrees and main courses. We had excellent service, in the heart of surfers.
Excellent food at a reasonable price .we really enjoyed the quality and presentation. Friendly service
