I have been going to Grassroots for almost ten years now and it has become a staple for me. The food is excellent, with fantastic muffins, baked goods, and a variety of delicious options. The smoothies are also top-notch. The staff is always friendly, and Rob, the owner, is often there to greet you and engage in pleasant conversation.
What a lovely place for lunch! We came across it while visiting in Glen Cove, by looking it up on Yelp. My husband and I shared a veggie burger , a yucca burger, kale miso salad and brussel sprouts. Everything was fresh and delicious. The staff was helpful and friendly, making great suggestions. We'll be sure to return.
The café offers excellent regular brewed coffee and iced coffee. I highly recommend trying the egg sandwich with turkey bacon - it's delicious! If you have a sweet tooth, the Philly fluff cake is a must-have with your coffee. The owner is friendly and the café has nice seating areas both inside and outside.
This place is excellent! The food is so delicious and incredibly healthy to boot! Whenever I am in the area, I always stop in. Love the place and the staff are so friendly.
