Grata is usually pretty good but this ravioli dish was not good. Not only did it visually not look appetizing cream sauce was very thin and gray from mushrooms , prosciutto was over cooked for $24 you think they would give you more than 6 regular size Ravioli. Thank goodness I was sharing the fettuccine with my spouse otherwise I would have been sad with my dinner. The taste was ok, portion was really small. Our other dishes were really good.
Really enjoyed all the food including the arancini appetizer, bruschetta with figs, chicken parmesan, cacio e pep (noodles cheese, and black pepper), sea scallops and truffle risotto, salmon and pasta, and spicy clams in pasta sauce. There were 6 of us. They didn't charge us a corkage fee for our wine we brought and were very accommodating. The Nutella donuts were pretty tasty. Nice atmosphere, too.
The roasted octopus appetizer was amazing! Best octopus I've ever had. We just picked Grata because it had a happy hour. Later in the week, we met someone who went there on back to back nights for the octopus. They just texted us a photo of the octopus when they went back this week. The rest of the meal was also amazing. Get the octopus!!!! Seriously just get it.
My family and I like this restaurant very much, every time we get a satisfying dining experience, including delicious food and excellent service, we are very fortunate to have such a restaurant in Windsor ???????? We had a wonderful dinner here after a day of wine tastings. I had the house salad and seabass over polenta and it was excellent. My friend had the risotto and she enjoyed it. The tables next to us asked what we had and copied because it all looked, smelled and tasted so good.
The Veal Chop was a hit all around!!! I love how they took it off the bone. The veal was so tender, juicy, flavorful and cooked perfectly. The polenta was awesome!! Service was spot on. This is a place I would come back to over and over again
This is my favorite place to order when Iwant to splurge on flavorful and carb delights! Every salad ive ordered I live, the focaccia bread and risotto balls Arancini) are AMAZING. Also big fan of the Italian Soda
