Lovely setting in a bustling side street near the cathedral. Tables inside and outside. We sat on the terrace and enjoyed the atmosphere and buskers playing music. The menu was available in English and offered typical Italian cuisine e.g. pasta, pizza, meat and fish at average prices. We ordered pasta and the waiter was helpful when I checked that the meal I ordered was vegetarian. Sadly the food was disappointing. It was served very quickly (within 10 minutes of ordering) which was too fast for a busy restaurant and also doesn't give much time to chat and enjoy a drink before eating. The portions were ok and food looked nice but both of us found some of our pasta to be raw. We like it serve...
Really didn 't like our meal here. We only went as another restaurant had lost our booking so we were stuck for a late ish dinner on a Friday night. There are some nice tables outside and I suppose the atmosphere is quite buzzy. But because of the location all of the diners were tourists and there was a woman from the restaurant in the street hustling people inside a sure sign of a tourist trap. The waitress was friendly but seemed a bit fake and had irritating 'tourist patter ' which she clearly spouted to every table. As for the food, well the starters were ok but the pizzas were shocking. I mean seriously bad. The thin, tastless bases felt like they 'd just come out of a supermarket freez...
I went here with a large group of friends in April 2012. The atmosphere was friendly, fun and the staff were very good fun! The food and wine were amazing and not too expensive. I would highly recommend it! :o)
Beatiful setting, but the food was a disaster. I didn't know that spaghetti carbonara could me make that way... The pasta with tomato sauce is too sour ... Of hou are à tourist ... please stay away there!!!
