Been going here since I had my first gyro 20 years ago. Today I went in at 2:25 in the afternoon. Ordered my usual, Gyro with a drink came to $11.50 , I believe. Picked up my food then went to sit down to enjoy my messy Gyro. As soon as I sat down the lady who has seen my a hundred times in there says to me Our lobby closes at 2:30 I said excuse me and she says it again. In disbelief I said to her that You could've told me that BEFORE I ordered and you took my 11 bucks. We have been going here for years(15 so we stopped in for a late lunch yesterday. My husband had a loaded steak sandwich with a small drink and I decided to try something different ordered the Cuban with a small drink. When I questioned that it would be pressed they said yes. Bear in mind We live in the Tampa bay area, We both use to work in downtown Tampa so We know what a Cuban should be This was a good sandwich but traditional Cuban it was not. A coworker once shared their fries and half a sandwich with me from this restaurant, and it was delicious. I decided to try ordering takeout from them today, but after waiting for 6 minutes with no response in the background, I hung up and decided not to call back. If you're wondering why they don't always answer their phone, my experience on 6/29 at 12:27 PM might give you an idea. I'll be going elsewhere for lunch, as this was a disappointing experience.
I can't say I don't like this place, but it was just okay. I have a steak sub philly cheese steak style and some ridden over $9. the meat was not too fresh or plentiful, it was nice and cheesy. If you get jalapenos, you might want to ask for a few questions as there were too many and I love spicy. they really need to take some time to clean because the place was dirty and the tables were really sticky. Food is was over priced and mediocre. They are very rude and would never order fron there again. Chareed a 18% gratuity chare on our credit card before gave them a second chance sorry we did never again!!!! Horrible food and even Horrible service!!! Plase is dirty and disgusting. Just gross.
I had a fish sandwich and it was good.The people who worked there seemed to be the owners. The place was clean . There was only one person besides me.The prices were the same as everywhere else.
I originally planned on ordering a Ruben sandwich, but I found out they only serve it during lunch hours. Who needs a dinner rush when they close after just four hours of being open?
