This is a take-out restaurant with a no-frills atmosphere—no decorations, quite noisy, and a constant flow of people coming and going. While there are a few simple tables available, it's not a place where you linger to dine in. I've had Chinese cuisine in many major cities around the world, and I can confidently say this place is excellent—better than most. This place used to be good back in the day. We have come here from time to time over the years as we have traveled to Mother Rucker in 2008, 2013, 2016, and most recent as of last year and we've always enjoyed grabbing to go chinese food but since returning to Rucker this past year, we have eaten there about 4 times in the last 6 months and the food has been consistently mediocre. I don't know if they had a change of ownership/management (probably) but it definitely isn't what it was before and is certainly a disappointment since coming back. This small restaurant, located at the end of a sunken strip mall off Highway 231, offers the best cuisine in Ozark. The food is consistent and some of the most delicious Chinese fare I've had outside of Chicago's Chinatown. I particularly enjoy the noodles, sesame chicken, and General Tso's chicken, and their seafood dishes are fantastic! I did find the beef a bit tough, likely due to the flank steak not being marinated properly. I'm convinced they have the best chicken wings around! The boneless ribs are a must-try too! With only four tables, takeout is the usual option here.
It's absolutely horrible. Since this place changed ownership, it has gone downhill bad. This is the worst Chinese food you can spend your money on hands down you can't travel within 60 Mi of damn food this bad. I walked in and ordered the hand in my food in less than 30 seconds. This pre-made garbage tastes like it's been boiled and 2 days old. The General Tso's chicken I ordered is the worst food I have ever eaten. The new owners are 100% garbage. Walking in, I notice how big there kitchen was in such a small building..a very friendly atmosphere and a clean establishment..I ordered 2 special of General tso Chicken and waited about 10-15 minutes...applicable time for such a delicious lunch..nice size portion, and the meal was delicious..Definitely will attend once again Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20
