Just the usual Venice Beach vibes... place for the gram and to be around other cool individuals like yourself! Aside from that, the food is pretty creative and tasty. We loved the greens flavor of the curry. The black rice glued the whole dish by providing the right amount texture in contrast to the crispy skin of the salmon and creaminess of the curry. My only complaint is that the salmon was fairly dry....but the crispy skin made up for it. We also had the ricotta hot cakes and that was enjoyable for sure. Fluffy and very balanced. That was an easy 5 stars. Charcoal latte was on point too. Overall, I'd definitely come back with more friends. Worth the 45 min wait time because there are cof...
Great white is a staple!! I had the pizza Diavola at the recommendation of my waiter/waitress and it was great! I had it with light honey as I didn’t want it to be too sweet. It was a bit oily but overall super good. It also reheat well the next day! I got my pizza to go so I only had a quick beer while I waited but it was delicious. The stand out experience was my server. I forget their name (sorry!! but they were exceptionally attentive and lovely. Overall a super fun and quick visit in Venice. Absolutely make a reservation if you plan on dining in!!
went to had lunch with my family while on vacation (it was our food experience in LA) and omg,cant even begging to describe how good everything was!! the place looked amazing and the food was excellent quality too! Wish i had more room in my body to eat cause i left wishing i tasted more of their menu! The only bad thing i would mention is that it was FULL, and i think if they had more space it would feel more cozy and comfy. But as the rest? One of the best places to eat in Los Angeles for sure!
I have to say that while the food here is on the pricey side, the quality is excellent, and they prioritize sourcing ingredients locally. There was a long line, but we were fortunate enough to get a table quickly during the busy holiday season. My salmon breakfast was cooked to perfection, accompanied by a fresh salad and hard-boiled eggs. The coffee wasn’t as warm as I had hoped, but it tasted fantastic. For my last meal in LA me and a couple friends stopped by the Great White location in Venice for Brunch. We got there before 10am which was a perfect time (before it got busy). It was a solid meal. Most of us at the table got the Breakfast Burrito but my one friend got the Great White Breakie. The food was awesome (I wish the burrito was a little bigger). They have seating inside and out. We ended up sitting outside since it was a nice day. The host took care of us as well.
I highly recommend the chicken sandwich! As you can tell we all had it lol no regrets! It was amazingly refreshing and the fries were just right. Our waitress was very welcoming. The hostesses were ok. The general feel of the place is too white as in the color of the walls and tables, feels like a nice resort where you'll be asked to join a cult. Thank goodness for the open air space and light coming in. My plate with just water came out to around $20, not including tip.
The prices are somewhat on the higher side, with the Margherita pizza priced at $22 and the Bolognese at $24. However, it's clear that they use fresh ingredients, and their pasta is made by hand. The food also arrived surprisingly quickly, which was a pleasant surprise! Plus, the restaurant is conveniently located near the "Venice" street sign. I would definitely recommend this place!
This is a lovely spot for brunch or lunch! The location is fantastic, and the service was excellent. Every dish we tried was delicious, although the portion sizes are a bit small for the price. We ordered blue smoothie bowl and breakfast burritos. They both tasted so good especially the burritos, perfectly cooked and the sauce was delicious. The granola and fruits on blue smooth bowl were very generously placed. Will order it again!
