To start off, the food is quite good, and I would rate it three forks up (3/4). However, the service leaves much to be desired and clearly needs improvement. If you ask for cream with your coffee, you might as well just drink it black, and good luck getting pancake syrup for your dry food—by the time it arrives, you’ll have finished your meal. The prices are also a bit steep; a small cup of grits will cost you $4, which definitely doesn't feel worth it. A regular cup of coffee (far from gourmet) will set you back another $4. I ordered a gyro that came with fries, and overall, the food was quite good. Towards the end of the meal, the gyro was a bit salty, but it wasn't nearly as salty as gyros I've had at other local places, so I was happy with it. The staff member at the checkout was friendly, which added to the positive experience. I appreciated being able to call in my order for pickup, and the attached parking lot made it very convenient.
I visited for an early lunch on a weekday and found the staff to be hurried and somewhat impatient. I wasn't offered a beverage refill during my meal. The food was decent, but there were no bread or even crackers to go along with my entrée-sized salad. The loud environment was the worst part; it made us want to finish our meal quickly and leave. I won't be coming back.
Numerous out of town family members were meeting for Sunday brunch. The restaurant accepted our reservation and saved a great table for us. Don't bother, you can get a better breakfast at home. Terrible home fries, gummy pancakes that they call hot cakes and watery coffee. Only the staff is nice and that's it.
