I’m absolutely flabbergasted at what happened at this place today. I’ve eaten there a few times and the last time the food wasn’t that great but today my 3 year old wanted the halloumi and chip pita bread as shown in my picture below. The man in the photo was incredibly rude to my 75 year old mother when she asked before we had ordered what the halloumi fries were, rolling his eyes at her cause she was so stupid! Anyway, he was talking to his friend and we were waiting for our ordered pita outside the middle of the small trailer, there were no other customers waiting but we were obviously annoying him standing there so he shouted at us to move down we took the whole 2 steps to wait at the bo...
While exploring Brighton for food options, we stumbled upon this food van. Initially, we had planned to dine inside a restaurant but couldn't shake off thoughts about the food from this place. We decided to go back and try the food, which turned out to be amazing (we tried the pork gyros and halloumi fries). The only downside was the service - after placing our order, there was minimal interaction with the staff. They seemed more focused on their own conversation, forgetting who ordered what. Our food was handed to different people and we had to correct them. Despite the great food, the lack of customer interaction was disappointing. If they improve on this, it would easily be a 5-star exper...
Centrally located outside Churchill Square Shopping Centre. Lately food trucks can bring some anticipation of bringing high quality food to you and not the usual fast food concept. A variety of specialties and ethnic menus, have become particularly popular and this is where Greekatessen positively surprised us. We had a great greek meal from this truck and their Pitta Pork was especially lovely. Service was friendly and efficient. No tables, but you can choose to find a place on the surrounding square or bring it with you to wherever you find suitable.
Was very pleased to come across this Greek street food style place in Brighton. After trying real pita gyros in Crete, always wanted to find the closest authentic place. Ordered the traditional pork gyros in pita with chips. Fresh, well presented and delicious. The only minor complaint would be that the meat was a bit too salty. Do recommend if you enjoy Greek food, love to try street food or you are on the go had my gyros just while walking in Brighton. Service was warm, friendly and quick.

This restaurant is a total tourist trap. I ordered a Kebab Gyros and was served something that was a complete mess. They put paprika on top which made it extremely dry and difficult to eat. The staff member was on his phone and didn't even take my order properly. The prices are also too high for the quality of food they offer.
Some of the best food i have had in England, recommend the chicken gyro have not really tryed anything else i did have the lamb gyro and the pork personally the lamb is not something i enjoy but the pork and chicken gyro's are a must try.
I have tried many chicken Gyros from this restaurant and have never been disappointed. The bread may seem thick at first, but it is not. The filling is generous, with crispy thin chips that are delicious. Lovely experience overall.
As always, it delivered. This is one of the best places for a gyros wrap in Brighton (and that’s coming from a half Cypriot greek) we look forward to having another on our next trip to town. Definitely recommend the pork gyros!
