Close to La Jolla Cove and next to Trilogy (not associated), but love that there's vegan friendly options next to each other! Stopping it, you're greeted to a lush alleyway and make your way to the ordering station (order/pay first) then find your seating. When I arrived someone was playing guitar which was awesome. Service was friendly and food tasty. The tres (3) jackfruit tacos were yummy along with the Caesar salad. Would totally come back to try other items.
My first visit to this restaurant was enjoyable. I found it a bit strange that I was the only customer there at 7pm on a Saturday, considering the location. Nonetheless, the food was good. I tried the Bombay Burger on a pancake crust, and I really enjoyed it. The cheesecake was also excellent. I plan to return soon and try something different. Thank you for the great experience. I appreciate that you offer vegan options.
I would give this restaurant an overall rating of 3.5 stars. We decided to try the salad and sandwich/soup combo. While the food was tasty, I wouldn't necessarily describe it as amazing or exceptional. The outdoor patio is nice, and the corridor leading to the restaurant creates a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere for dining. The quality of the food is decent. In terms of value for money, I would rate it a 3 out of 5.
Martin and Green Door Cafe have a special place in my heart!The entire experience is lovely at this restaurant. They have creative menu items, a cozy indoor space and a charming courtyard. Best vegan food in the world! Yum 10/10 recommend everything is so delicious I love the salads that come with most entrees too! Soooo good I cannot recommend this place enough. Also lovely people working here, great service, great food, great location. We were in La Jolla on vacation and came here to eat almost everyday and the food was amazing every time.
I thought it was delicious here. We shared the coconut bacon BLT and the breakfast burrito. Both were really tasty, as was the beet detoxer juice. I'd definitely eat here again! For the price point, I'd say that the side soup and side salad were not terribly exciting, but in general, it was a lovely and yummy meal on their pretty patio.
We ordered the Pesto Panini and the Full Tank sandwich, both of which came with a cup of Tomato Basil soup. The food was incredibly fresh and delicious, and the service was fantastic. Green Door is a charming cafe with a great atmosphere. Thank you, Martin. Food: 5/5

Lovely sit to stop for lunch. We had the tacos, Full Tank sandwich, chocolate chip pancakes, and pizza. We are every bite. The carbonated ice tea was fantastic.
