Cosy, little pub with great food! Super convenient when doing the Offa's dyke path. We had the Fish and Chips and they even had a gluten-free option which was great! We should have gone for the large portion though as the medium portion was quite small. It would also be nice with large bottles of ketchup, mayo etc. to avoid all the trash from the small packaging. We were sitting in the courtyard which was great as a hiker (and smelly feet : We also had some nice tea afterwards, but unfortunately the milk came in small packages. It would be nicer with a little jug of milk : But overall a great place! They even have sandwhiches for take-away (not glutenfree though .
During our two-day stay at the pub, we were impressed by the friendly staff who went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. The food was excellent, with a diverse and affordable menu. The portion sizes were generous, and the cheerful staff who served us added to the overall enjoyment of our visit. It’s a fantastic place to dine, and their Sunday carvery is particularly delightful! Thank you; we will definitely return.
