I recently revisited this restaurant after my first visit in 2020, and I am happy to report that it is still a fantastic dining option. The restaurant offers plenty of seating, including a lovely balcony area that is perfect for enjoying good weather. I was impressed by the great menu choices available. Of note, when I requested our food to be gluten-free, the staff automatically provided a gluten-free version of the soy sauce without me having to ask. The Green Sprouts venue is on the B1 bus route from Wynyard which practically delivers you to the door of this fabulous Vegan restaurant at Neutral Bay. Coming from The Northern Beaches, it is just a matter of crossing the road and walking up a little from the B1 bus going into the city. The Service is 10/10 with friendly staff with well priced dishes and so many to choose from! I often come to this restaurant with my friends for a delicious banquet. If you loved the yum cha at Bodhi (sadly now closed) you’ll love it here too they “inherited” the chef from there during Covid. The yum cha menu is extensive and impressive the flavours probably not quite as good as Bodhi used to be, but definitely (in my experience) the best vegan yum cha currently available anywhere in Australia. They were very quiet the day we went so they didn’t have too many dishes pre made, and we had to order most items from the menu, but please go and eat there so they don’t have that issue in future! You will not receive a warmer greeting even at home at this bright and serene restaurant, located on the second floor of a mall. It is truly an oasis with an extensive vegan Chinese menu featuring old traditional favorites and regional surprises. The vegetables are fresh and vibrant, and the dishes are cooked to perfection. The hot and sour soup is rich without being oily, the Peking duck is a delightful surprise, and the beef and broccoli are excellent. Every dish that passed by me from the neighboring table was tempting. Overall, a fantastic dining experience.

Varied menu is so delicious and they staff are so friendly. I’ve been coning his for a Few years and this is by far the best place in Sydney. So many people don’t know about it but it is work the journey to Neutral Bay. Yum cha on weekends or a l carte during week.
Whole menu is vegan! I had the Singapore Noodles which were lovely and the slightest bit spicy. I thoroughly enjoyed it and can’t wait to come back and try more of their dishes. Updated from previous review on 2023-04-26

Loved the pan fried cabbage dumplings!! Everything is vegan so makes for a stress free ordering experience. So many great options. Will def be back.
