Great salads, great price. A small salad is big enough for one meal and maybe even two, but they do mix the dressing so it becomes a little soggy. Super flavorful and great choices for salads. I would recommend getting one from the menu and not adding anything because it will bring up the price and then it might not be as worth it. I added corn and they charged over a dollar for a tiny scoop. Overall it is a great place and they are very quick with getting your order out. Make sure to keep your eyes on your salad! They're really quick and pass on your salad to other workers to finish it. The place is beautifully decorated inside as well. Would return to try more salads.
The food is okay, but paying $17 for a small salad and three pieces of bread is excessive. You can get a salad at a steakhouse for the same price and receive a more upscale experience with a tablecloth and better quality ingredients. I left feeling like I had been ripped off. This is just one example of why the downtown area is struggling. With expensive parking and costly lunches, it can be a painful experience.
I've visited Green The Grain several times, and it's consistently excellent. I've only heard positive feedback about this place. While some of the salads can be a bit pricey, they’re definitely worth it. I appreciate how they thoroughly mix all the ingredients before packing the salad. There’s a great variety of fresh ingredients, and plenty of options to customize or modify your order.
The salads at this restaurant are delicious, but the prices are absurd! This is not what salads should cost in Minneapolis. As an East Coast resident, I ordered two salads that ended up costing me $40.29. I've lived in New York City and Washington, D.C., and I've never paid that much for a salad — not even at Sweetgreen! To make matters worse, the salad wasn't even chopped.

I kinda feel robbed. They significantly reduced the sizes of their bowls recently but prices are still the same. This tiny bowl was $12. Salad tasted good but it was not enough food, especially for the price. Really bummed they made these changes.
Super fast service and a great variety of options. It can be a bit on the pricey side, but with good reason—it's always consistently excellent, which explains why it's so busy at lunchtime.
They have really good salad options and the portion sizes are good but the prices are pretty high. If you go around noon the line is usually really long but the line moves fast.
Fantastic spot for salads with a wide variety to choose from. Even when there’s a line out the door, the service is so quick that you’ll be served in just a few minutes.
