We stayed one night at that location which bids a couple of rooms. The room was very cozy, the view was beautiful (on the hills surrounding the location) and we ate at the restaurant, where the food was delicious and the staff very friendly and helpful. Plus, the location is great: 7 minutes ride from Appenzell and 25 minutes from the cable car to go to the top of the Säntis. We highly recommend the place!
Is for well-heeled customers. Prices are too high for me. Example, a Rivella Fr. 4.90. The prices for food are not cheap either. I thought there would also be simple food here, but that's not the case, unfortunately
A great restaurant, with a winter garden and a large terrace area in a wonderful green environment. We also enjoyed the food.
