After being out for a specialist appointment it was time for some lunch, but the place we intended to go to near Glengarry hospital was closed. After checking the Internet for some Chinese food nearby (and on the way home) we decided to try this place. From the outside I wasn't sure if it was still running due to some window vandalism but as I got closer it was obvious that it was indeed open. Having to use a walking stick it was reasonably easy to get to approaching from the left side and I noted that front on there were a few steps from the carpark. My family have been patrons of this restaurant for over forty years and only once disappointed years ago and that was understandable as it was a very busy night. We three decided on the banquet for three as the banquets are always good value and variety and having had them on numerous occasions we can recommend them for 2-20+ people. We were not disappointed as it was all cooked to perfection from the delicious chicken and corn soup, spring rolls and wantons of generous size, beef with black bean sauce (not salty thank goodness), sweet and sour pork, chicken and cashews and their special fried rice is the best. We were looking for a decent Chinese Restaurant for a catch up with friends and stumbled across this place which had great reviews and decided to give it a go.Having a table of 6, we went for the banquet and were not disappointed, the food was very fresh, tasty and plentiful. After we all had eaten as much as we could there was still plenty of left over for a generous "doggy bag".I would highly recommend this restaurant and intend returning to this new favorite.
Lovely restaurant hidden away in Greenwood. Variety of dishes of a very high standard, large portions.Especially like their beef schezwan brought sizzling to the table . Restaurant authentically decorated and welcoming.The staff are very hospitable and efficient. BYO ,great food and a great restaurant

Got takeaway from here after 5 years of going elsewhere after not being happy with the food and I wish I had of stayed away.Sweet & Sour Pork. Hard & Dry.Special Fried Rice being gluggy and nothing special at all added.But nice spring rolls.I put it down to 15mins before closing..
We come here a lot, either to eat in the restaurant or takeaway. The food is just awesome. Have no complaints at all. The restaurant itself is not flash, but who cares when the food is great.
Greenwood Garden Chinese is easily my favourite Chinese restaurant, not just because it's down the road from me either haha!
The quality to price ratio is
Pensioners love it, seafood basket $16, heaps of parking, lovely staff, a bit hectic with parties, but good food, drinks alright, good place to meet friends

Delicious takeaway dinner for six of us impressed us with their speed, quantity and quality for the price -- great value!! Best Chinese in the area.
