Greg's Place is open for breakfast and lunch. We had lunch. It is a roadside gem (rustic). The portions are large and the prices are low. The seafood chowder is on par with any you have had anywhere. Scallops and french fires were very good and come in a small and a large serving size. Beet fans don't miss the p. (pickled) beets. Tuna plate and sandwich were served with fabulous, fresh in season tomatoes. For dessert I had some very good raspberry pie.
I've been eating here for years and always sit at the counter, where I make sure to engage politely with Nicole (you definitely don’t want to get on her bad side). I usually order the dropped egg in Greg's special with thick toast, and it's absolutely fantastic. Their chowder is outstanding as well. It’s a great spot to catch up on local gossip—just eat, keep quiet, and listen!
We frequently visit our daughter in the Augusta area and have stayed at a cottage on Three Mile Pond twice. Whenever we're in Augusta, whether we're at the lake or not, we almost always dine at Greg's. They serve an excellent breakfast, and we've tried nearly everything on the menu—everything has been delicious!
We've been fed here for years. Always eat at the counter and politely engage Nicole (do not want them on your bad side). I dropped eggs in a Greg's special with fat toast. Absolutely brilliant. Your Chowder is exceptional. Great place to hear local gossip. Just eat, shut up and listen!
We often visit our daughter in the region of Augusta and stayed twice in a holiday home on Three Miles Pond. We almost always go to Greg when we visit Augusta whether we are at the lake or not. You have a great breakfast. We had almost everything on the map and it's good food.
This is a fantastic spot for breakfast! The pancakes were the highlight, but the home fries came in as a close second. Make sure to take the chance to enjoy a delicious home-cooked meal here!

An excellent place for breakfast! Pancakes were the favorites, but the domestic pommes were a short second. Do not miss an opportunity for a great house cooked meal.
