Salmon was decent. Rice was fragrant with saffron. Salad was crisp and fresh. Liver was a bit chewy. Shepherds Pie Yorkie had overcooked yorkshire base, some ground meat and a dab of potato on top. Chicken Parmesan looked like a frozen product pre-fab. Came with pasta that was nicely cooked. Dessert: chocolate mousse and apple crumble, both frozen, server confirmed that. Mousse was not fluffy as a mousse should be. More like ice cream. Crumble was room temp, tasteless, and no ice cream or whipped cream to accompany as would be usual. Server landed all cutlery and side plates on one end of table of eight. When dessert was brought, she handed both forks to the nearest person so they could dist...
Avoid eating here at all costs. The food was awful, the service terrible. There was actually mold on the pickle skewer that accompanied my Caesar. Ordered sausage/beans/two eggs/toast/braised onions/fruit/ Sausage was burnt; it came with tater tots. Wrong toast and there was no butter or jam (was told they were all out); no beans so they substituted chili (without having the courtesy to come back after we ordered to tell us that)... not sure who wants chili with brunch. Eggs were undercooked and slimy. Not sure where my fruit or onions were but they never materialized. Have been a customer there for 30+ years and can say that is my absolute last time going. Don't even want to rate it as a 1...
The bartender looking after our table was friendly, happy, and very attentive. Menu had many options but we were set on 4 lbs of takeout wings for NFL Sunday, and all flavours were delish. The curry poutine fries were a naughty bonus. Definitely back this Sunday for another round. 5 star...
food and beer was great everything appeared to be fresh there was a big line up for patio but Vino took us straight in ahead of everyone Thanks Buddy!
