The food took 35 minutes to arrive, and the waitress did not explain the wait time when we ordered. My husband's lamb kofta was average, and my sausages were also just okay. However, I was disappointed to find that my mashed potatoes were watery and unseasoned, and the peas were frozen. Overall, we were not satisfied and do not plan on returning to this restaurant. The price per person was between £20-30, with a rating of 3 for the food, 2 for the service, and 1 for the atmosphere.
My brother and I happened to walk into this pub after a hike on the Downs. We had been rejected by pubs in Ditchling, so thought we would take our chances here. We had to wait 1.5 hours to see if they would have availability, but they accommodated us, all the bar staff were super nice and friendly. The food was good also! Vegetarian options: Nice nut roast! Working out of town and advised the greyhound had a quiz on a Thursday. Rocked up and plenty of parking. Great atmosphere. Staff friendly and welcoming. Had a fantastic evening, will 100% be going back.

I have been here quite a few times now with groups of friends. Always a good atmosphere and a good selection of beer and wines. Bar staff are always happy and helpful.
This restaurant is simply fantastic. It continues to maintain its excellence. The cost is £1-10 per person. The food is rated 5 out of 5, as is the service.
Overpriced, no heating on, even bar staff blowing on their hands. No drying facilities in toilet, won't be going to the igloo again
