Okay, they really should have more than 5 stars... I say that about women, and food. 10 is a better scale and more honest. I am lucky to have known some 11s in my day. Now I am just lucky to live around the corner from Griffins. They are an 11 star!!! We had three Shannon Salmons to go the other night. Best thing I done for me and my g/f and her son in a long time. Was wonderful... Griffin's Shannon Salmon is the best dinner in a 100 mile radius! (Okay, Arroyo Steak House has a nice Filet, but you can get 3 Shannon Salmons for that and tip, AND the best veggies and mashed. I think I have said enough. Now I have to order... I hope there is some Salmon left :
This is not a sports bar. This is not y our typical Irish bar with TV's galore. In fact there are no TV's. This is a great place to chill. To actually look at the person in front of you and hear them talk. The food is quite good too. The beer especially the Harp on tap is amazing the way they add carbonation and how cold it is. I can suck down so many of these on an hot summer night. When they have bands it gets loud so you better like the music or move on until the band is done. Oh the wings, burgers, shephards' pie all amazing.
A place for some great fun with friends. Been going here with my friends since college. Family owned business that knows how to take of their customers. Irish themed with live music on the weekends. The live music is hit or miss but you definitely gotta check out their band the Drive. Absolutely fantastic and awesome. The Drive Band is very talented and plays great music. Drinks are great with good prices. The atmosphere is amazing. Would definitely recommend to my friends and others like you.
It was a bit too dark when I went in, definitely could be hazardous if your elderly. They adjusted the lights a bit later. Food was great. I had the burger and it came with potato wedges. $9. Service was pretty standard, friendly staff. Patrons there are friendly without being disrespectful. Parking can be a little tricky, but free 2hr street parking and parking lots around.
This place is just the best Irish bar in SGV! Not only the masses are great, good drinks and high-quality food, one of the days when you get lucky and see the Griffin's siblings play their music there....that was a treat safe!
irisch vibe from the decor. friendly staff. kevin, barkeeper, was friendly and happy to answer the questions I had about the bar since it was my first time. they have musical performances against the end of the week.
Went for St Patrick's Day and while very busy was still able to get drinks after a short wait...great times, great Irish beers and great crowd...will be back again
Great place to enjoy a beer or cocktail. The location is awesome. The staff is super friendly.
