Delish!. I hadn't eaten at a Griff's in many years, and I was hoping they'd be as good as I remembered. I was not wrong! I got the combo #1 double giant cheeseburger, large fries, large drink for less than $7. Bargain! The fries were crisp perfect. The burger was a greasy delicious juicy mess of flavor! I don't know about those reviews in August that complained of the burgers being dry. My burger was juicy and flavorful! I needed several napkins eating it. The lovely woman at the drive thru was just as sweet as could be and made sure to give me lots of ketchup packets and napkins. My only wish is that they'd make a Griff's closer to my house!!
Griffs Burger and Pommes are similar to Sonic, but much better. Better rolls. Better meat. Better pommes. Not that Sonic is bad, but handle is better. And... you don't have to eat in the car. Order in the window and have a seat. When your order is finished, they will call your number and bring the food to you. The big double with big frits and drinking came to seven and a quarter, which is a few mice cheaper than Whataburger for the same meal! I have a hard time to find any mistakes except it is an older institution and could modernize a little. Except a thorough thumb up!
I don't have much fat on my food. But this place is my exception. If I need a fantastic cheeseburger, I'll come here. The cheese is melted to perfection and the grilled onions and jalapeños are amazing. The French fries are crunchy and fresh. So amazing.
I never had handles before, but then my friend took me to get a milkshake, and it was the best milkshake ever, then she took me to get a burger and it was amazing. Griff is the best burger place I've ever eaten.
