2 of us ordered the Angus steak which you cook at the table yourself and the equipment provided (small stove between 2 of us) was clearly not hot enough to cook the steak properly or quickly enough. The stove required relighting on several occasions and after about 90 minutes and after finally getting a second stove to cook on we managed to finish cooking all of the steak. Most of the steak pieces were eaten rare just because it would have taken so long to cook to medium rare. Also due to the time cooking the steak we could not eat the rest of the food vegetables etc with the steak and these were eaten before any of our steak would cook. Always a pleasure to visit the Barbican but especially today for the performance of The Night Woman. What a stunning piece of Black theatre from the exceptional talent, Julene Robinson. Beautifully, skillfully crafted. This piece will resonate with me for some time; it's definitely a jumping off point for more enquiry. The Night Woman deserves to be seen more widely and I so hope it will be. 5 star.
Es un teatro bastante grande con diversas salas, un poco caótico el encontrar baños si estás en un evento donde hay mucha gente, así que tómalo en consideración. Tiene un restaurante bastante surtido dentro del complejo, así como un área de trabajo en caso que necesites un break. Es un sitio bastante accesible para personas con movilidad reducida. La estación más cercana es Barbican.
Complejo de Edificios de Arquitectura Brutalista. El proyecto de construcción se basó en el mármol para el exterior de los edificios. Brilliant experience, loads of staff around to help guide you. There are plenty of clean toilets and a well stocked bar. Also a gift shop.
