This is a hidden gem, next to San Miguel hotel just outside el Rompido town. From arrival we were greeted with a warm friendly welcome and sat out on the terrace. Our group of 8 people had a good mix of starters which were exceptionally delicious our main courses of steak and chips were absolutely the best meal we’ve ever eaten in Spain. The house salad was delicious, a mix of salads and fruits with goats cheese and a red wine dressing. We even found room for desserts and we were very happy. We had visited Tierra y Mar before COVID when they were still at their location up on the hill in El Rompido on the way to Cartaya and were very impressed with their food then. Now they have moved to the beachfront in El Rompido (Barca street) things have become even better. Their dedication to meat (90 day aged) was already fenominal but now not only can you get at fabulous steak you but the starters are very good and combined with a strong winelist guarantees a fantastic experience. Comida de amigos en vacaciones. Pedimos un tomate aliñado con melva, un arroz negro y otro meloso de carabineros. 2 txuletas de 1,2 kgs de Vaca Frisona. Acompañado de 2 botellas de Pago de los Capellanes. Exceptuando el tomate que estaba sin sabor, ambos arroces estaban perfectos y menudo remate el de las 2 txuletas. Los arroces estaban buenos. No es legal cobrar por el servicio y ellos lo cobran. El camarero constantemente intentaba colarnos comidas o vinos de alto coste, no fue agradable. La ensaladilla de gambas estaba muy muy floja y muy cara para la porción que sirven, los chocos duros y el postre , la tarta de queso y pistacho muy muy mediocre. NO volveremos , no nos gusta sentir la presión del camarero para que nos intente colocar productos caros.
The team here have a wonderful restaurant and are really passionate about offering guests fantastic food in a great ambience. With tables overlooking the sea and beach it adds to the atmosphere. We were three adults and tried a variety of plates, including meat and fish. Really well cooked and the ingredients all of very high quality. The best restaurant dining experience of our holiday! We will be back again, for sure!
Fui a comer porque unos amigos me lo recomendaron y tenían razón, la comida era deliciosa y muy buena aparte comer al lado de la playa fue muy agradable y fue la mejor experiencia que tuve este año en comida, delicioso todo sobre todo el pescado que está muy bien hecho y también la carne, ir valió mucho la pena es un sitio que se debe de ir minimo una vez para probar la comida deliciosa que tienen
Nos ha encantado , primer día lomo alto de wagyu excelente, marcado y con piedra caliente, como debe ser. Mantequilla pura con salsas agradables. Repetimos un segundo día con un arroz de carabineros buenísimo. Y los dos días empanadas argentinas de carne , picantitas... que buenas. Volveremos seguro

Un entorno agradable en la playa. He estado aquí varias veces a lo largo de los años y ahora el restaurante Tierra y Mar ha mejorado aún más. El menú es realmente interesante, con excelentes opciones de carne. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente.
