I frequently bring friends to Grinder and this week marks my third visit. My friends always leave happy and satisfied with the food here. Our waiter, Alejandro, was very kind and recommended some delicious menu items from the heart. The fried calamari and Surf and Turf are always a safe bet. However, I have noticed that the lobster is often overcooked and the fries could be fresher, as they tend to be cold and hard. The medium rare steak and beef dishes are always good though. 2nd visit and last one. The food was good, but that’s where it’s stops.Service was missing the smile and we did not feel welcomed.We were sat down on the interior patio section, which was not our choice and noticed a few droplets of water on our seats and table. As soon as it started to rain again, we understood where the water droplets were coming from as they started to fall on us and in our food. It took them at least 5 minutes to offer a new table and the manager never came over to offer his/management excuses or simply make amends for our food that got seasoned with rain water. Hostess tried to seat us in between two other tables, but we could not even move the chairs to sit because of how sandwiched we were. Funny thing is that she tried to seat other people after us in that same place, and they could not move the chairs to sit in either. We got another table right besides, but there is no AC in that area on a day with 87% humidity. There were so many flies as well, maybe just a fan would have been nice. The meal was 250$ for two for surf and turf with rib-eye option. It was good, but maybe not worth that price.
I had an amazing experience at this restaurant. It was my first time dining here and the atmosphere was electric. The waiting staff was friendly and the valet service was excellent, saving me the trouble of looking for parking. The food was delicious, albeit a little on the expensive side, but very satisfying. It was a busy Friday night, but the dining experience was enjoyable. The beef short ribs were so tender that they were falling off the bone - I loved it.

All dishes from little focaccia amuse bread to Steak lobster entree. Quality is there. Even side dishes are hot fresh. Just one suggestion: serve one better quality steak sauce reduction replace that starchy whatever. If no, kind of waste of that nice piece belle cuisson ribeye ? The food was extra delicious!! The wine pairing was perfect! The service was awesome! And the place super cozy! I had tuna tartare for 1st course, then ribs with salad (which was really really good) and pudding chomeur with sundae for dessert, absolutely delicious!!!!
