On Sunday I was in Surfers Paradise with my friends and we decided to stop @Gringo Loco to have a beer.We just asked for a corona to start. The staff that were there serving us, was the most rude staff that I have met!Firstly he served the beer hot with a really old lime. He put the beer in a bucket with ice, but is my first beer, I'm not going to wait to get cold to drink. Secondly, when I was paying the beer, he charged more because is Sunday, its ok.When I told him that beer is not cold and the lime is old, he started arguing raising his voice.And then, he said at the end; next time I'm not give a bucket then! Its not gonna have next time! I'll never comeback to this place.
Ate here for breakfast on a Sunday morning. I would not have considered eating Mexican for breakfast except a friend mentioned he had a awesome meal her. So I tried it. Best outdoor seating if you can get a table close to the road. Direct view to the beach across the road. Stunningly filling breakfast. I ate the gluten free Maiz Bunuelos and my husband tried the Hangover pile up. YUM YUM. Wait staff friendly. kitchen clean
After sharing a nachos which was OK we were told there were no tacos. Can you believe it??? In a Mexican restaurant. So then hubby decides to order a Mexican beer and the waiter comes back and said that also was not available. We left wondering if it was at all Mexican. Plates were not as clean as they could or should be and the outside area had a distinct intermittent waft.... could it be cat wee???
Would never have thought of a breakfast here, but WoW. Awesome Job Guys. Mexican for Breakfast!!! Great options, My Coffee too was outstanding Great position, right opposite the beach with great outdoor undercover seating. Great Job

Fantastic location, great service and the food was fantastic. It was wonderful to be offered food that was a bit different, most enjoyable. This was the best breakfast experience we had on the Gold Coast.
Very disappointing, my husband and I had dinner here tonight, the quesadilla was tasteless, even the side of sour cream didn't taste right. Would recommend giving it a miss
I have been in Gold Coast for 2 weeks on business and have stopped into Gringos Cantina every other day to eat either breakfast or lunch.
Great location, but that's about it The food was not bad, but was not good Not good at all.
