You have Collin, who is studying vocal performance at Mercer University sing a bit of Mascagni 's Cavalleria Rusticana before dessert arrives! I wish Google would publish my short video instead of a still pic! This guy can SING! We heard him sing a piece from Puccini 's La Bohème for another party in the back of the house, and other patrons were sneaking peeks around the corner to see who was singing! I debated between two or three stars on this one. I was expecting too much maybe. We had reservations for 6 on a Friday night. Not busy at all when we arrived and the service was really good most of the time. We had a hard time getting the check after our dishes were cleared. The food was meh and my salmon was undercooked. I could only eat half of it, the other half was raw and cold in the middle. The mashed potatoes were gluey and flavorless and green beans greasy. Just really really disappointing.
Excellent food, excellent customer service and not expensive! This place has a wonderful atmosphere where either an informal lunch with friends or a formal dinner with your special love. We were here with friends and we just loved it. I ordered the patty melt with a potato soup Bisque. My wife had the turkey club. Even the unsweetened tea was good. Each of us enjoyed the experience. Great place and I highly recommend it!
My family and I stopped today to try this remnant. We ordered the Grieß Fritte as an appetizer and they were delicious! My wife ordered the BLFGT bacon, salad, roasted green tomato sandwich and my daughter and I shared the Rocking Chair Grass Fed Hamburger. They were both so good. The parts were huge, the decor was great, and the staff was polite and fast. We will be absolutely back to try more food.
We went during lunch. I would probably prefer to go back during dinner. They offer more during dinner. Not really a quick stop in and eat place. Laid back atmosphere. Had a nice lunch with a friend. She had a salad and the sampler appetizer platter. I had an amazing burger paired with sweet potato fries. Waitress was nice, attentive. All the staff spoke and was pleasant. No wait, but not empty. It is a great local place. A little pricey, but worth it.
Burger was good! I wouldn't say it was something spectacular. In any case, they have charged for everything. And the service was very slow, as if there weren't enough servers. Can't wait to come back and try more from the menu!
Great discovery in this picturesque city. The recommended giant pork stable was fabulous, including the pasta and sauce it came up. The fried green tomatoes were also a nice tasty touch. Excellent service at the bar.
